Fix for Form Cursor Jumping Below Input Field on Apple iOS 11 Device
Apple-branded devices that run iOS 11 (see list below) experience a problem when filling forms in popup boxes. The problem persisted on iOS versions 11.1 and 11.2. The problem was not due to Popup Maker, but to the performance of Apple’s iOS 11 operating system itself. The issue was recently fixed with the release of iOS version 11.3 on March 29, 2018.
Problem Description
When users placed the cursor on an input field located near the bottom of a popup screen, the cursor would jump
below the field and appear instead on the ‘submit’ button below. The HTML structure of the input field made it impossible for the ’submit’ button to work properly within the popup. Users could not submit forms placed within a popup.
Popup Maker plugin users may wish to inform their visitors using iOS 11 enabled devices to update to version 11.3 to enjoy an optimal user experience on that site.
